The Georgian country house is home to the Roper-Curzon family, and its grounds include 27 acres of gardens, a 15-acre lake and private beach access, with St Mary’s Church just beyond the end of the drive. It’s around 90 minutes from London Waterloo.

A Georgian estate wedding venue on the Solent

Pylewell Park offers exclusive use of the estate, so the whole setting is yours for the celebration. Couples can marry in the refurbished drawing room of the main house or at the church at the end of the drive, gather for drinks in the gardens or by the lake, and take photographs with the Solent and the Isle of Wight as a backdrop.

Thirteen bedrooms in the main house sleep up to 26 guests, so the wedding party can stay on the estate and make a weekend of it.

• The Pylewell Pavilion: a purpose-built, glass-fronted space with views across the Solent, seating up to 200 for a wedding breakfast, with its own bar, dance floor and an outdoor terrace strung with festoon lights.

Wedding lighting at Pylewell Park

The Pavilion’s glass front is its greatest feature by day, framing the Solent. After sunset, the windows turn dark, so the lighting inside needs to create the atmosphere. We use warm uplighting and pin-spotting to set the tone for the wedding breakfast, then switch to dance floor lighting and effects when the band or DJ starts.

Outside, we add to the terrace festoon and can light the gardens, trees and the front of the house, so guests can step out and enjoy the estate after dark.

Wedding sound and PA at Pylewell Park

We provide discreet ceremony sound for the drawing room or outdoor ceremonies, speech PA for the wedding breakfast, and full sound systems for live bands and DJs in the Pavilion, with a sound engineer on site to mix live. For drinks receptions in the gardens, we can supply background music systems that carry without overpowering the setting.

Production for South Asian weddings at Pylewell Park

Pylewell Park is well suited to multi-day South Asian weddings, with space for several ceremonies and celebrations across the estate. We provide the production for each event: mandap and stage lighting, sound for ceremonies and live performances, LED screens so every guest can see the key moments, and staging for the couple and performers. Our crew can reset between events, so each day has its own look.
