Event Generator & Power Distribution
About this service
Event Generator & Power Distribution Hire in London, Surrey & Hampshire
Temporary power for marquees, weddings, festivals and outdoor events, planned, installed and monitored by our own crew.
Power is the part no one thinks about, until it's missing. When the lights dip during the speeches or the band cuts out mid-song, nothing else about the event matters. Get the power right and nobody notices it at all, which is exactly the point.
Peachy Productions provides event generator hire and power distribution across London, Surrey and Hampshire, supplied from our warehouse in Aldershot. We don't just drop off a generator. We work out how much power your event needs, plan where it goes, install the distribution safely and keep a technician on site to monitor it from the first sound check to the last dance.
Generator hire for marquee weddings and private events
A field, a garden or a country estate has no mains power, so a marquee wedding starts with a generator. We size the system for everything you plan to run: lighting, sound, catering equipment, heating, bars, toilets and the band. Then we position it away from your guests so it's out of sight and out of earshot.
For a 280-guest wedding in the Suffolk countryside, we powered stretch tent marquees, heating, toilets, a 14ft circular bar and a stage for live bands on a rural site with no existing power or facilities.
Power for festivals, outdoor events and rallies
Outdoor events often need power in several places at once: stages, bars, food vendors, production areas and site lighting. We design the power plan across the whole site, size each generator for its load, and run distribution and cabling safely to every point. We have delivered power and production for outdoor rallies, mobile stages, sporting events and large multi-marquee sites.
Backup power for venues and corporate events
Some venues have mains power that can't cope with a full production, or a supply too far from where it's needed. We add temporary power to support stage lighting, LED screens and sound, and provide backup generators for conferences, product launches and live broadcasts where a power cut simply isn't an option.

Generator hire FAQs
What size generator hire does a wedding marquee need? It depends on what you're running. A marquee with lighting and a DJ needs far less power than one with catering ovens, heaters and a live band. We calculate the load from your plans and recommend the right size.
Will the event generator be noisy? We use low-noise generators and place them away from guest areas, often screened from view, so most guests won't know they're there.
Does your power distribution team stay on site during the event? Yes. For full-service events, a technician monitors the power and fuel throughout, and is on hand if anything needs adjusting.
Can you power distribution cover toilets, catering and heating as well? Yes. We plan power for every supplier on site, including caterers, toilet trailers, heaters and bars, so they all run from one safe system.
