Event Sound, Band & PA systems
About this service
Event Sound, Band & PA systems in London, Surrey & Hampshire
Sound design, PA hire and live sound engineering for weddings, conferences, parties and live events.
Sound is the one thing no one notices when it's right, and the only thing anyone remembers when it's wrong. A speech nobody at the back can hear, a first dance lost in feedback, a band that's either too loud or too thin: these are the moments that define an event for the wrong reasons.
Peachy Productions provides event sound and PA hire across London, Surrey and Hampshire, supplied from our warehouse in Aldershot. Our systems scale from intimate wedding ceremonies and conference speeches to live band rigs, festival stages and large-audience productions. Every system is designed for the room, set up by our own crew and operated on site by an experienced sound engineer, never left to self-setup.
Wedding sound and PA hire
Your guests should hear every word of the vows and every note of the first dance, without anyone shouting over the music at dinner. We provide wedding PA systems for ceremonies, speeches, live bands and DJs in hotels, country houses, barns and marquees across Surrey, Hampshire and London.
- Discreet ceremony sound with wireless microphones for the registrar, readers and musicians
- Speech PA for the wedding breakfast, so every table hears clearly
- Background music systems for drinks receptions and dinner
- Full band and DJ systems for the evening, with an engineer to mix them
- Outdoor and marquee sound, with power supplied where there's none
Conference and corporate event sound
At a conference, clear speech is everything. We design conference sound systems so that every delegate hears every speaker, whether they're in the front row, at the back of the room or watching online. Our engineers manage lectern and lapel microphones, panel discussions, audience Q&A, walk-up music and video playback, and send a clean audio feed to camera and live stream.
We deliver sound for conferences, awards dinners, product launches and brand activations, including the MPG Awards at Grosvenor House, the Annual Arab British Economic Summit and a hybrid conference at Chelsea Football Club.
Live music and outdoor event sound
Live bands, festival stages and outdoor events need power, coverage and control. We provide line array and point-source PA systems, stage monitoring, backline support and front-of-house mixing for live music, rallies and outdoor productions, including a mobile stage and sound system for The People's Vote. For sites with no mains power, we supply generators and power distribution too.
Our event sound equipment
We own and maintain our own sound equipment, so you know exactly what's arriving on the day. Typical kit includes:
- Line array and point-source PA speakers
- Subwoofers for live music and dance floors
- Digital mixing consoles
- Wireless handheld, lapel and headset microphones
- Lectern and gooseneck microphones
- Stage monitors and in-ear monitoring
- DI boxes, stands and cabling
- Playback systems for music, walk-ups and video
Need the kit without an engineer? See our event equipment hire page for dry hire.
How our sound service works
- Brief: we talk through the event, the venue, the running order and what needs to be heard, and when.
- Design: we specify a system for the room, the audience size and any noise limits.
- Install: our crew sets up and sound-checks everything before your guests arrive.
- Operate: an engineer mixes live throughout, adjusting levels as the event changes.
- De-rig: we pack down and clear the venue within its curfew.
Event sound across London, Surrey and Hampshire
We provide event sound across London, from the City to the West End; throughout Surrey, including Guildford, Woking, Farnham and Brooklands; and across Hampshire, from Winchester and Basingstoke to the New Forest. We also travel nationwide for festivals and larger productions.
Sound and PA hire FAQs
How much does PA hire cost for an event? It depends on the number of guests, the venue, whether you need live music and whether an engineer stays on site. A speech PA for a wedding breakfast costs far less than a full band system. Send us your details for a clear, itemised quote.
Can you work within a venue's noise limiter? Yes. Many venues have sound limiters or noise curfews. We design and set the system to keep within them while still sounding full.
Do you provide a sound engineer? Yes. Our full-service sound always includes an engineer on site. For simpler events, dry hire is also available.
Can you supply sound for our band or DJ? Yes. We regularly supply PA, monitors and mixing for bands and DJs, and can liaise with them directly on their technical requirements.
