Set within an 800-year-old estate on the edge of Burley village, Burley Manor brings true New Forest scenery together with a wedding and event space full of character. The Grade II listed manor overlooks its own deer sanctuary and is close to the A31 and M27, making it an easy trip from Christchurch, Bournemouth and beyond.

A rustic barn wedding venue in the New Forest

At the heart of the venue is the original rustic barn, with floor-to-ceiling brick chimneys, feature fireplaces and exposed oak beams. It seats up to 80 guests for a wedding breakfast and holds up to 150 for an evening celebration. The adjoining Deer Park Barn offers a second, complementary space for ceremonies.

Stay, dine and celebrate at Burley Manor

Forty-one individually designed rooms mean the wedding party and guests can stay where they celebrate. The in-house kitchen serves a Mediterranean-influenced menu built on local, seasonal ingredients. For weddings, private parties and smaller corporate gatherings that want the New Forest as a real backdrop rather than a day trip, Burley Manor has atmosphere in every corner, from roaring log fires in winter to twinkling lights strung between the beams in summer.

Wedding lighting and production at Burley Manor

Peachy Productions provides wedding and event lighting, sound and staging at Burley Manor. We use warm uplighting to bring out the oak beams and brick chimneys, festoon and fairy lights strung through the barn, and dance floor lighting for the evening. We also supply discreet ceremony sound in the Deer Park Barn and PA systems for speeches, bands and DJs. As a Grade II listed building, the manor needs a careful approach, so we rig without fixings and work closely with the venue team.
