Event & Wedding Lighting in London, Surrey & Hampshire

Lighting design, hire and operation for weddings, conferences, parties and brand events.

Lighting is where we started. It's the unsung hero of any event: the difference between a room and an atmosphere. Used well, it lifts architectural features, adds depth and colour, brings a dancefloor to life, or makes sure every word on a conference stage is clearly seen.

Peachy Productions provides event lighting hire and lighting design across London, Surrey and Hampshire, supplied from our warehouse in Aldershot. Our team designs the concept, plots the rig and runs it live, always working closely with you on that final look, so nothing is left to chance on the day.

Wedding lighting

Your venue already has character; the right wedding lighting brings it out. We light ceremonies, drinks receptions, dinners and dance floors in country houses, barns, hotels and marquees across Surrey and Hampshire, and at London venues such as Battersea Arts Centre.

  • Wireless LED uplighting to wash walls, beams and stonework in your colours
  • Festoon and fairy lighting for marquees, gardens and courtyards
  • Pin-spotting for centrepieces, cakes and floral installations
  • Dancefloor lighting and effects that switch on the moment the band starts

Conference and corporate event lighting

At a conference, lighting has a job to do: every speaker clearly lit, every slide readable, every camera shot clean for the live stream. We design stage and audience lighting for conferences, awards dinners, product launches and brand activations, then operate it from a control position so cues land exactly on time.

Recent corporate work includes the MPG Awards at Grosvenor House, the Annual Arab British Economic Summit in London and a hybrid conference at Chelsea Football Club.

Marquee and outdoor event lighting

Marquees and outdoor sites start with nothing: no power, no fixtures, no house lights. We plan the whole system, from the generator and power distribution to the fittings inside, so everything is safe, weatherproof and properly lit from arrival to the last dance. Our marquee lighting ranges from warm festoon in a single stretch tent to large-scale industrial lighting across multiple marquees.

Christmas lighting for towns, cities and outdoor spaces

Festive lighting turns a high street, market square or estate into a destination. We design, install and maintain Christmas lighting for councils, business improvement districts, shopping centres, hotels, venues and visitor attractions across London, Surrey and Hampshire.

  • Festoon and catenary lighting across streets and squares
  • Christmas tree lighting, from a single feature tree to a whole avenue
  • Façade and architectural lighting for town halls, churches and landmarks
  • Projection and gobo displays on buildings, as we did on the tower and nave of Guildford Cathedral
  • Christmas light switch-on events, with staging, sound and power

Outdoor schemes need careful planning: site surveys, power supplies, weatherproof fittings, safe rigging at height, and installation and removal timed around traffic and trading hours.

Our event lighting equipment

We own and maintain our own lighting stock, so what you see at the planning stage is what arrives on the day. Typical kit includes:

  • Wireless battery LED uplighters
  • Moving head spot, wash and beam fixtures
  • LED par cans and battens
  • Profile spots and pin spots
  • Festoon, fairy lights and decorative lighting
  • Haze machines for atmosphere
  • DMX lighting desks and wireless DMX control
  • Truss, stands and rigging

Need the kit without the crew? See our event equipment hire page for dry hire.

How our lighting service works

  1. Brief: we talk through the event, the venue and the look you want, and visit the venue where needed.
  2. Design: we produce a lighting plan and colour scheme, with visuals if helpful.
  3. Install: our crew rigs and focuses everything before your guests arrive.
  4. Operate: a technician runs the lighting live, adjusting for each part of the event.
  5. De-rig: we pack down and clear the venue, within its curfew.

From candlelit ceremony lighting to full-scale conference production, we scale without compromise: same creative eye, same technical precision, every time.

Event lighting across London, Surrey and Hampshire

We light events across London, from the City to the West End; throughout Surrey, including Guildford, Woking, Farnham and Brooklands; and across Hampshire, from Winchester and Basingstoke to the New Forest. We also travel nationwide for larger productions.

Event Lighting FAQs

How much does event lighting  cost? It depends on the venue size, the amount of kit and whether you need a technician on the night. A simple uplighting package costs much less than a full stage rig. Tell us about your event and we'll send a clear, itemised quote.

Do you need power at the venue? Most venues have enough power for wedding and party lighting, and our wireless uplighters need none. For marquees and outdoor sites we supply generators and power distribution.

Do you install Christmas lights for towns and councils? Yes. We work with councils, business improvement districts and landlords on festive lighting schemes, from design and installation to maintenance and removal in January. Book early: most schemes are planned over the summer.

How far ahead should we book wedding lighting? Summer Saturdays book early, so we recommend getting in touch as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.
