2013 was a great summer for Peachy and we were privileged to work on a number of high profile and exciting events with some very special new clients. Want to know more?
Regents Park Wedding.
In conjunction with Tom and the great team at Event Oracle Peachy helped to stage a beautiful British summer wedding in the grounds of Regents College, Regents Park London. The production included the lighting of trees and key features surrounding the main marquees as well as the coloured mood lighting to completely colour change the interior of the main structure. Our D&B sound systems were used for live band, disco and PA support. Peachy also provided the event generators, run in sync, and power distribution for the entire site.
NFL London Saturday Night at the Criterion.
Following a heavy weeks schedule of promotion and events the NFL chose London’s grade I listed Criterion Restaurant, Piccadilly, to stage their Saturday night celebrations. “The Criterion is a gorgeous building to work in” states Pascale Pretty, Project Manager for Peachy “but it requires a delicate touch to use technology to enhance the venues architecture and not overwhelm it”
The event was hosted by Vernon Kaye and featured an exclusive 40 minute performance by Ellie Goulding and her band.
Peachy provided wireless programmable uplighters (to reduce cabling) 65” plasmas, voil projection, a bespoke stage, PA and audio support for Ellie (Controlled via an iPad!) and a three camera broadcast shoot mixed live onto the screens throughout the venue.
“Thank you for all of your help with our event at Criterion last night. All of our partners / guests were extremely pleased and had a great experience. You guys have a great team and I hope we can work with you for future events.” Event Marketing, NFL
Player of the Year .
Our brief was to production manage, from concept to implementation, the POTY awards as a high profile, “Oscar-style” event. Peachy were awarded the event following an exacting proposal and bidding process. This was due not only to our reputation for production expertise and consistent delivery but also our track record for delivering on budget.
The event was hailed as a spectacular success by the 750+ delegates, which included past players, youth players and current players and management of the club. The event was covered by Chelsea TV and other press members to whom we provided live camera and audio feeds.
The awards were held at the CFC in the Great Hall and the evening began with a drinks reception, which provided the setting for informal socialising and photo opportunities. There were 42 awards involving both the youth team and first team during which there was a three-course silver-service dinner severed. The smooth and perfectly timed proceedings were rounded off with live music which was hosted in adjacent Under The Bridge music venue also housed at CFC.
