Theming
Our definition: Combining a number of different disciplines to transform a space. Our skilled carpenters and fabric dressers are comfortable handling a diverse range of materials to create amazing stage backdrops, sets and props. We use mood boards extensively to develop ideas, choose fabrics and pull the concepts together.
For those with a restricted budget we can help maximise the effect using off the shelf props.
Design and Build
From the initial brief our creative designers will work with the client to conceptualize their thoughts and understand the key components of the design. Then using, a combination of CAD drawings and mood boards, the brief will be turned into visual images.
With sign off agreed, our skilled carpenters will choose the right materials, agree build times before work commences in our warehouse.
For a 007 themed party we designed and built the stern of a super yacht with room enough to fit an eleven piece band. A 60th birthday at photographic studio was transformed into the African Jungle, the ballroom in the Hilton, Park Lane dressed as a Candy land. These are a few of the projects we have helped with.
Designing for awards dinners is a challenge that our team relish. Sound, lighting and video all need to be accommodated. With the stage and set the focus for the evening, we are experienced at bringing designs to life, to engage people. We pride ourselves in our finish and attention to detail.
Marquee
Flower heads bursting with colour, gem stones sparkling above the guests. Line the walls with curtains of hops or hang large centrepieces down the centre of the tent. With endless rigging points and neutral linings, transform the space using sumptuous fabrics, amazing props and our imagination
A beautiful starlit sky, twinkling high in the roof of the marquee, the LED lights changing from red to green to blue and then back to white. By replacing the standard white or ivory lining with a black starcloth roof you will create a gorgeous backdrop for your wedding or party. As the starcloth is built using modular sections, covering the dance floor only is not a problem. Marquee walls and as a backdrop to the band are simply accommodated.
Table centres
Beautifully designed table centres bursting full of colour will have your guests talking when they first walk in to the dining room. Use a combination of low and high to provide a sense of depth and perspective. Remember that high table centres need to be designed with thin stems to allow guests to talk across the table to each other. Floral displays, Goldfish bowls, Perspex cubes, tall martini glasses are all used to transform your event.
Furniture
Simple yet stylish. Our range of comfortable furniture is available in a wide range of different fabrics and colours. Modular in design. our seating is a popular option for creating relaxing flexible seating areas at wedding, parties and events.
Bars
Available in a variety of sizes and styles, our high quality bars offer an exciting alternative to a simple table and cloth. The bar units are built in modular form to ensure quick installation. Whether it is launching a new product or promoting your company the bars offer great branding opportunities.
Props
Props help to tie an event together. They help guests identify the theme and provide focal points within the room. With a small budget, use big products to provide a big impact. Our expanding stocks of props are of the highest quality and carefully maintained. With access to creative designers and experienced chippies, we are comfortable building custom designs for specific requirements.
Draping / Starcloth
Disguise a room, create a stunning starlit backdrop. We have worked in many of the country's top venues, and are currently the preferred draping supplier Chelsea Football Club.
Hide unwanted objects, mask unwanted space, and conceal a surprise. The flexibility of the ground support system means we can install draping almost anywhere. With the option of theatre style curtain and kabuki drops spaces can be hidden and theatrically revealed.

Case studies
Title: Theming for Halloween
Description: An example using lighting and set design for Halloween 2009. Our brief was to dress the exterior of the house for trick or treaters on all hollows eve. We used floral display plinths to highlight the entrance and dressed with trailing ivy, perched on top two large pumpkins where we took inspiration from the nightmare before Christmas for the carvings. A PA system played haunting sounds from the well on either side of the entrance. Light projected Flames licked the entrance way and bats lit the front of the house.
